What Makes Valor Different
Education is sacred because the fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge, so our mission isn't about merely intellectual information—it's about character formation. Every context is a classroom to train children to love God with heart, soul, mind, and strength—and to delight in the joy of learning along the way.
Classical Tradition
The Trivium and Quadrivium aren't just subjects—they're the tools of learning itself. Students learn to think, argue, and persuade with precision and power.
Courageous Conviction
We hold fast to the authority of Scripture, trusting God's sovereign design for all of life and rejecting modern ideologies that contradict his word.
Concentrated Schedule
School meets Tuesday through Thursday. No school on Monday or Friday—those days are for practice, preparation, and family time. Parents lead; we reinforce.
Educate and Enculturate
We are raising skilled builders and brave soldiers to glorify God in all of life. Every subject is an opportunity to know God and his world more deeply—and to discover the joy of learning.
Humanities
We study the humanities—from learning to read to wrestling with the great books—to know God's word and his world. Through literature and history, students trace the story God is authoring and learn from those who came before.
Theology
We study theology because the knowledge of God is the beginning and end of all learning; in Christ all things hold together, and every subject finds its meaning in him.
Science
We study science to worship our Creator and exercise godly dominion over his world, observing creation with wonder.
Mathematics
We study mathematics to trace the order and beauty God wove into his creation, training the mind to reason clearly and delight in his design.
Music
We study music to give ordered voice to praise, forming the affections through harmony, rhythm, and song.
Art
We study art to behold and make beauty as image-bearers of a creative God, training the eye and hand to render his world with skill and delight.
